Itinerary - 2 days Istanbul to Gallipoli & Cape Helles:

Day 1 (Istanbul to Canakkale)
Private Gallipoli National Park Tour I
Pick up from your hotel and drive to Gallipoli. Visit Gallipoli National

Park including: the Gallipoli Battlefields, Kabatepe War Museum, Anzac Cove, original tunnels and trenches at Johnston Jolly, the Nek Cemetery, Chunuk Bair New Zealander Memorial, Lone Pine Australian Memorial and Brighton Beach. Drop off to the hotel. Overnight in Canakkale. (B, D)

Day 2 (Canakkale to Istanbul)
Private Gallipoli Tour II - Cape Helles & Krithia
Pick up from your hotel after breakfast for the second day tour in Gallipoli. This begins by focusing on the landings of 25th April 1915. We start on the British sector and see where the ‘River Clyde’ landed the men of the 29th Division on V Beach, then visit Seddul Bair, the nearby V Beach Cemetery and Turkish Gun Battery. We then move on to the Lancashire Landing, where the 1st Lancashire Fusiliers won six VCs before breakfast. This visit requires some walking as the roads to the beach are not accessible by vehicle. At X Beach we see where HMS Implacable landed the 2nd Royal Fusiliers. After a picnic lunch we look at the ground fought over by the British in the second phase of the campaign, seeing the memorials and the Vineyard, plus the war museum in Krithia. After the tour, drive back to Istanbul. Drop off to your hotel about 5-6:00pm. (B)
